Manufacturing processes

The first stage of the process

Planning phase

The production of the products is always preceded by the thorough design work of our technology department. The design of the casting pattern and manufacturing technology of complex castings is aided by the application of a 3D design program.

The first stage of the process

Simulation phase

A tervezés során elkészül az adott termékre szabott gyártási technológia, szükség esetén dermedés-szimulációs program alkalmazásának segítségével.

The second stage of the process

Making a mold

Based on the guidelines of our technology department, we undertake the preparation of the casting sample sets required for the production by involving a number of reliable subcontractors with a long history of cooperation.

The third stage in the process

Forming, core making, assembling

Molds are made with room temperature bonding resin sand mixtures in mold cabinets of various sizes. Our largest mold cabinets are 8000 × 2000 mm, resp. They measure 4200 × 3750 mm. Forming is done using screw mixing machines. Our skilled workers, who are properly trained at regular intervals, play a very important role in our production technology, which specializes in the production of small series and individual products.

The third stage in the process

Production of Cores

Core making hot-box; Croning; Cromit

Made from a mixture of hand-formed cores, sand and cold-setting resin.

The third stage in the process

Assembly

Prior to assembling the mold, the molds are provided with a heat-resistant coating for the best material quality available.

The fourth stage of the process

Smelter

The smelting process for the various grades of cast iron takes place in three induction furnaces.

Increased or high strength cast iron materials are fabricated by modern cauldron metallurgical methods.

The fourth stage of the process

Melting and casting

Increased or high strength cast iron materials are fabricated by modern cauldron metallurgical methods.

The fifth stage of the process

Blasting and Cleaning

Surface metal cleanliness is ensured by the use of steel grit blasting equipment. Fine cleaning is done with grinding machines and hand tools with cutting discs.

The sixth stage of the process

Machining

In order to provide the fullest possible customer service, we have a group of subcontractors with a long history of co-operation, thus ensuring the possibility of pre-processing and finishing the castings if required.

The seventh stage of the process

Surface tratment

If required, we supply the manufactured products with primer painting and we also undertake the painting of the castings with the involvement of a subcontractor.

The eighth stage of the process

Packaging

Depending on the method of delivery and the customer's order, we undertake to pack the products on pallets or in accordance with the rules of sea and air transport.
